Based on writer Hai Yans novel, the movie features an international cast of red-hot idols from China, Hong Kong & Korea. Hong Kong model/actress Angelababy plays a Chinese police officer who is sent to chase after a Korean gangster played by Korean actor Jae Hee. Real-life couple Huang Xiaoming & Angelababy continue their love onscreen & their relationship is tested by Jae Hees arrival.

Chinas long-lost national treasure, a golden Buddhist statue reappears in the hands of the Kim family, a notorious Korean mafia in Hong Kong. To escape from the police, an innocent son of the Kim family, Hee (Jae Hee) sneaks into Shenzhen, & detective Lu (Angelababy), whose real intention is to track down the golden statue, is sent to escort him. Having gone through life & death together, the two begin to fall in love, putting Lis relationship with her boyfriend Yu (Huang Xiaoming) at stake. Although Hee agreed to cooperate with the police, he disappears with the statue under his brothers scheme.
