Prolific screenwriter Lau Ho Leung ( The Great Magician) makes his directorial debut with cops-&-robbers action comedy Two Thumbs Up, which stars Francis Ng ( Triumph In The Skies) as low-level gangster Big F, whos just gotten out of prison. He wastes no time in tracking down his old comrades, picking up bowling alley employee Crazy B (Simon Yam, Election), back-alley hairstylist Johnny T (Patrick Tam, As The Light Goes Out) & mechanic East L (Mark Cheng, A True Mob Story) in quick succession. As it turns out, Big F has a nice payday planned for the gang. He wants to rob a truck transporting dirty money across the Mainl&-Hong Kong border, & to do that, the gangs got to pose as police officers. On the day of the heist, the men set off in their minibus-turned-police-vehicle dressed as cops & armed with BB guns. What they dont know is that another group of criminals also has its sights set on the truck & those people have AK-47s.
