Catastrophe strikes at Keungs (Louis Koo) company party & sends everyone running for their lives in a frantic panic. Trapped in a flaming office building, former firefighter Keung leads the crowd including his sister-in-law See Lok (Angelica Lee) upstairs to wait for rescue. He reluctantly dials the number of his firefighter brother Dai Kwan (Lau Ching Wan) to call for help. The brothers come together in the fight for survival, but the ground begins to sink as they try in a final attempt to break open the only door to escape.
