Yang captures Shaolun with plans to execute him after trial, but Zhang (Wu Jing), a colonel in Caos army, soon storms into Pucheng to retrieve the prisoner. Meanwhile, wandering martial artist Ma (Eddie Peng), an old friend of Zhang, also happens to pass by Pucheng & rides right into the volatile conflict.
