- Set the Guys Loose has finally arrived with a new adventure for the hardworking police officers of the Wangan precinct. For their third big screen outing, writer Kimizuka Ryoichi & director Motohiro Katsuyuki has concocted the most dangerous & complex criminal conspiracy the Wangan precinct has ever seen, with possibly fatal consequences that may change some of your favorite Bayside Shakedown characters for good.
As expected, Oda Yuji returns once more as coat-donning super detective Aoshima, as do partners-in-crime Fukatsu Eri, Yanagiba Toshiro, Yusuke Santamaria, plus the "e; Wangan Three Amigos"e; Kitamura Soichiro, Ono Takehiko, & Saito Satoru. Joining the fun this time is Oguri Shun ( Crows Zero) as a police bureaucrat on the rise, & Ito Atsushi as the nephew of police veteran Waku (played by Ikariya Chosuke, who passed away in 2004). As a possible transition to a new generation of Bayside Shakedown cast, Kimizuka also wraps up the trilogy by bringing back surprising cameos by past guest stars, so be sure to study up on your Bayside Shakedown trivia for the series biggest chapter yet!
Seven years after the Rainbow Bridge incident of Bayside Shakedown 2, Aoshima (Oda Yuji) has since been promoted to section chief, & his first big assignment is to oversee the Wangan Precincts move to a new location. After several mysterious incidents, a daring group of criminals are able to easily sneak into the station & steal several police-issue guns to commit murders. As Aoshima & Sumire (Fukatsu Eri) try to reclaim their guns before theyre used to kill, the two also begin to uncover the gangs true intentions. Meanwhile, young rising bureaucrat Torikao (Oguri Shun) is sent to Wangan to oversee the investigation, but even he may be harboring ulterior motives that could derail the investigation.
