This Port is quite simply outstanding! 1982 produced powerful wines worth keeping for years. This Port has a ruby-garnet colour & a pronounced nose of dried fruits (dried raisins, dried figs) completed with complex notes of cloves, cinnamon, chocolate & vanilla. Truly complex on the palate, the wine still has a refreshing acidity & delivers a very long finish. Truly unmissable! We strongly recommend that you open this Port at least one hour before drinking it & make sure you decant it before serving, as suspended particles might be present in the wine. A producer will only declare a vintage if he believes the port is of outstanding quality. The weather plays a major role in this decision, therefore a Vintage Port is only declared about three times every ten years.
