Origin: Sri Lanka Leaf Type: Black Tea Taste: Citrus notes Drink: Without Milk Brew: Lightly, 2-3 minutes according to taste with water off the boil When to drink: Afternoon History states this high-quality tea got its name when the East India Trading Company presented it to the Dutch Royal Family, the House of Orange, & then promoted the tea as Orange Pekoe to suggest a royal warrant. A Ceylon-style large leaf blend from the midland gardens of Sri Lanka, it is loved for its citrusy taste.
