Theres nothing like a light roast to bring out the flavours of a region, & this vibrant coffee does it in style. Nyeri County in central Kenya produces beans known for their rich, almost wine-like characters, & punchy aromasthe name Nyeri refers to its red volcanic soil. Smell this coffee, & youll get a hint of its fruity nature; taste it, & youll get the full kaleidoscope of flavours from zingy lemon to fresh vanilla. Once theyve been picked, the beans are sorted & washed in the small settlement of Mihuti, just south of Mount Kenya. Its barely a stones throw from a nature park brimming with wild animalsgiven this coffees exotic flavours, were hardly surprised. Bursting with berry notes, Kenya Rugi makes an impressive espressoits a welcome addition to our range.
