Product Description

The definition of Hogget is lamb aged between about 12 & 18 months old. It is the real connoisseur’s choice of sheep meats; rich in flavour & with a firm texture. This is a meat that reflects its upbringing. Reared on Dartmoor in Devon & grazing on pastures & heathers to give you one of the highest quality meats available. Hung to perfection, it's usually available most of the year round. With the bone left in, this joint gives extremely tasty meat when roasted slowly.
