If you take a look at Glumann's past work, most of it isn't like this swimsuit design. A lot of patterns & robust colours in their previous releases. But last season, & this one, they seem to have got an eye on the minimalist market. They also seem to be doing rather well at it. This swimsuit design is plain black, covering only a small part of the shoulder & cutting a rather fashionably high brief. The cups are ruffled, but unlike so many other designers, Glumann's folds are much larger, drawing attention to the bust & giving the impression of a larger cup size. But the most beautiful addition to this swimsuit is the gold broach on the left of the body. This centrepiece is knotted, but much simpler than some of the Celtic-style knots you'll see in fashion. This broach is clean, straightforward & simplistic. & in this design, rendered in black & gold. All the hallmarks of a finished piece that won't go out of fashion... ever.
