Description: The Walker & Simpson 9ft Americana Slate Bed Pool Table is a top professional quality table, ideal for home use & very popular with social clubs, pubs & small hotels. Meeting WPA standards for play & build, it has all the characteristics of its 8ft little brother with the extra space that makes it all a little more fun & challenging. With smooth lines & classic looks, it has a heavy slate bed covered by a high quality cloth. The slate bed is a full one inch thick. The cloth is of 70% wool & 30% nylon giving superb durability & exactly the right pace. The quality of the slate bed & cloth combine to give an extremely consistent playing surface, allowing balls to roll true every time. Serious pool players know that it is not only the surface that is important for a consistent playing experience, but also the cushions. The K-55 rubber used in these cushions is of the highest quality, used in world class professional tables. The automatic ball return keeps the pockets from getting obstructed when full, automatically returning balls to the rack end of the table rather than the player having to frequently empty the pockets. This provides a noticeably more flowing game, & also makes racking up the next one a touch more convenient. The overall construction of this table is fantastic, as we expect from a high end Walker & Simpson table. Its heavy, stable, strong, durable & finely finished. Available with a green cloth & either a black body finish or a mahogany body finish (just choose from the drop down list above). The feet are leveling to ensure a perfectly even playing surface. Along with two cues, a full set of pool balls & a set of snooker balls are also included.
