Strand Woven bamboo is a popular new flooring trend, combining fresh new designs with pure strength as strand woven bamboo is one of the toughest flooring materials on the market. As a strand woven bamboo, the product is very hard & resilient, with the process involving stripping the material into strands & then boiling out the sugar, before it is pressed together with low VOC adhesive for a floor with twice the density of normal bamboo. The floor is marked by a number of lines & characteristic nodes, unique features to bamboo & ones sure to make the floor stand out. Each plank has bevelled edges on all four sides & these V-grooves give the product extra depth & dimension, while the floor is finished with a durable satin lacquer, which gives it an attractive light-reflective sheen.
