Product Description

An aromatic blend of black tea, rooibos & fragrant spices Warming & aromatic, the heady scents of this blend transport you to Zanzibar’s famous spice markets. I add my own blend of distinctive fragrant spices to superb African tea & Rooibos, for a rich & delicious Chai with a flavour like no other. Red brown Rooibos. A pinch of pepper. This warm aromatic blend marries an unusual blend of Rwandan black tea & Rooibos grown high in the Cedarburg Mountains of South Africa. Lively & bright black tea & red-brown Rooibos needles bring depth & rich, creamy notes. The flavour is finished with high-quality cinnamon & aromatic cardamom. Finally, a faintly aniseed flavour of fennel seeds, with a pinch of pepper & cloves complete the blend. To our knowledge, nobody else blends black tea & rooibos this way – the flavour is unique. The result is a Chai with fantastic clarity of flavours & a delightfully light touch; a superbly balanced pick-me-up with more than a hint of tropical spice. This versatile blend can be enjoyed black, with milk & with sugar if preferred.
