The Air Tech NM crampon is such a good all round crampon. It is lightweight and can pack down by folding up on itself to take up minimum space. The 12 points give great traction on snow and ice and the last two side front points have a nice purpose; the double angulation of these points maintain biting capabilities when descending or traversing sideways giving you more stability. The crampons points are short and designed for the new requirements of “mixed modern’s” alternating between ice and rock. Even the soles of the most modern boots are perfectly covered. This tough sack is made from durable PVC backed polyester to withstand the wear and tear from the crampons. It is designed for the new K10 crampon and the original KTS crampons and features a mesh base to aid draining and ventilation, a drawcord closure and a webbing attachment loop.
