Exciting news!   Enjoy a farm filled day out with Ted at

Tractor Ted's Little Farm at Bowood in Wiltshire.

Opening on 20th March 2013 as part of the entry to Bowood House & Gardens the spectacular home of the Lansdowne family since 1754.  There will be lots for young families to discover & enjoy.

Children will be able to meet friendly farm animals such as goats & sheep.   Then they can handle rabbits, guinea pigs & hens.

Inside Ted's barn they will be able to watch real chicks hatching, enjoy lots of farm games & watch Tractor Ted’s real action films. Outside they will be able to ride around the mini tractor track, play ball scooping in the mini digger den & on special occasions see really big, modern farm machines like combine harvesters, forage harvesters, balers & ploughs.

To make it complete, there is a cosy café beside the farm for parents to relax in with their children.

The Little Farm will have a calendar of changing activities & events including Big Machine Days in the summer months as well as introducing ‘guest’ animals & seasonal fun such as treasure hunts, games & quizzes.

There will be opportunities for school trips & bespoke children’s birthdays in the Tractor Ted party rooms.

Ted's  Little Farm aims to bring to life many of the real action farming stories told by Tractor Ted, which engage children with the fun of the countryside & where their food comes from.

Bowood offers a fantastic day out for all the family.  Attractions included in entry to the House & Gardens include Tractor Ted’s Little Farm, the famous Adventure Playground, Arboretum, Robert Adam Orangery, priceless Bowood Collection & laboratory where Dr. Joseph Priestley discovered oxygen gas.  Within the Estate is the Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, where families can make a break of it & stay on site.

Tickets to the House & Gardens which

Includes:: Tractor Ted’s Little Farm costs £10.50 for adults (13 years & above), £9 for Senior Citizens, £8 children 5-12 years & £6 for children 2-4 years. A family ticket for two adults & two children costs £31.50. Season tickets for a family of two adults & two children costs £130.

Bowood House & Gardens is open daily during the 2013 season from March 20th to November 5th inclusive including weekends & Bank Holidays.
