How Does Lacri-Lube Work? Lacri-Lube's active ingredients contain medicinal liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin & wool alcohols. This helps to provide a fine protection film over the corneal surface of the eye & provides lubrication to the outer surface of the eye & does not induce the production of tears. Lacri-Lube is especially useful for night time as it stays in the eye longer than traditional eye drops. How To Use Lacri-Lube Lacri-Lube can be used as often as required.1. Gently pull your lower lid down & look up while you squeeze a 1cm line of ointment along the line of the lower eyelid, be careful not to touch your eye or eyelashes.2. Blink a few times to spread the ointment over the eye's surface.3. You may experience blurred vision temporarily but this disappears quickly.4. Wipe away any excess ointment. Do not wear contact lenses while using Lacri-Lube & if you experience any unusual symptoms, pain, redness or inflammation of the eye, stop using Lacri-Lube & consult your doctor.
