This pullover made from 2-ply Australian lambs wool is knitted fully fashioned, which means that the correct fit is already provided by the knitting pattern. The pullovers therefore sit well & keep their shape. Ribbed neckline & cuffs. With V-neckline. Hawick, a small town in the south west of Scotl&, is a mecca of knitwear production in Great Britain. Our pullovers are made here by a company with a tradition of over 130 years. It is barely worth mentioning that we only use Pure New Wool rather than recycled quality wool. The remarkable softness of the wool lies in the exclusive use of first-class "first clip" lambs wool from Australia. This can only be collected when the sheep are shorn for the first time. The hair is still fine & elastic & the hair tips are rounded – in contrast to later shearings. This wool is spun to very thin threads in Scotl&, which is then twisted with a second thread to make twine.
