Spear & Jackson 4903RSS Razorsharp Telescopic Bypass Lopper 42mm The Razorsharp Steel Telescopic Bypass Loppers feature carbon steel blades which have been polished & lacquered to provide resistance to rust & allow for smooth cutting. The tubular steel handles have a twist & lock extendable mechanism that can extend from 24 inches to 37 inches & are finished with comfortable grips. The bypass (scissor) action is best suited to use on 'green' or living stems, & will give a clean & precise cut. For thicker or dead stems an anvil lopper is a better choice as a bypass lopper will distort or spread the cut on thick stems.
