Designed for extreme winter conditions, it features an adjustable hood with wired peak, an intelligent system of mini baffles to ensure even warmth & a greater fill weight than any other MONTANE® down jacket. It offers the perfect combination of minimal weight & maximum warmth in a package that can be stored in the supplied waterproof compression bag when not in use. The North Star is ideal for delivering incredible warmth in extreme cold conditions & must be the first choice for mountaineers & polar explorers who require a jacket for belaying, wearing around high altitude camps or as an emergency insulation jacket on long winter days in the mountains.
