The production of Aszu Essencia wines is limited to very small quantities & exceptional years. Maturation traditionally takes place in wooden casks from between 5 & 15 year, followed by 5 years in bottle. Amber in colour with a ripe, barley sugar nose. A huge palate structure with pure sugars & refreshing citrus zest. It's richness, acidity & high extract ensure it has the ingredients to improve in bottle over many years to come. The wine already show an equilibrian allowing it to be enjoyed now, but the patient will reap their reward.
