Product Description

Lord of the Rings figurative chessmen from Studio Anne Carlton by SAC. The set is based on specific characters from The Fellowship of the Ring feature movie. Each side depicts completely different figures. White characters featured include Gandalf the Grey, Aragorn, Gimli, Frodo & Samwise. Black characters include Saruman, Ringwraiths, Lurtz & a variety of Orcs. The set is constructed from crushed stone & finished undecorated, creating a very elegant & understated look. The level of detail is undoubtedly impressive with each figure really capturing the essence of its celluloid partner. The set

Includes:: our Natural Rosewood deluxe chess board, produced by Rechapados Ferrer of Spain. A high grade veneer construction is used & the surface is finished in a satin lacquer. The colour of this light Rosewood corresponds well with the tones exhibited by these undecorated pieces.
