These superb Isle of Lewis chessmen have been expertly crafted by Studio Anne Carlton, the world's most famous name in high quality themed chess sets. They are an excellent interpretation of the original Isle of Lewis chess set that was discovered in the mid 1800's. These fine chess pieces are made from a stone resin composite & have an excellent weight & feel to them. The Isle of Lewis chess set has become an icon of collectibility during the last few decades. There have been many interpretations of the famous set but this version is particularly excellent. The accuracy is very good as is the overall quality of this fine set. This excellent Isle of Lewis chess set will sit happily on our twenty inch & above chess boards. Please note that the usual rules regarding size will not apply to the Isle of Lewis chessmen due to their unique shape &
