Product Description

A fine luxury chess board that has been skillfully crafted using solid hardwoods. The solid wood construction of this board is immediately evident in it's weight, just picking it up & running your fingers along the smoothed edges will leave you in no doubt of the quality of this chess board. Graded Boxwood & Golden Rosewood (Sheesham) have been crafted together to make this fine wooden chess board. Each square is formed from a solid piece of wood that is painstakingly cut to size & inserted into the board. The board is then lacquered & hand polished to a medium gloss & finished off with green flocking on the base to protect the surface of your table.
