Your recipient will take to the skies with an experienced pilot for this flight of a lifetime. This is the perfect opportunity to feel the exhilarating freedom offered by these superbly manoeuvrable machines. With the design of a hang-glider or small aeroplane, these amazing machines might look scary but they have become a stable, safe & recognised form of travel. An amazing chance to soar like a bird for a 20 to 30 minute flight! Your instructor might even let you take the controls if they feel you are up to it! Locations: Bedfordshire, Kent, Surrey (South East), North Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire (North), Herefordshire (West), South Lanarkshire, East Lothian (Scotland), Lincolnshire, Derbyshire (Midlands), Wiltshire (South), County Armagh (Northern Ireland) Agenda: Upon arrival at the aerodrome your recipient will be given a briefing on the principles of microlight flying. From there they are taken to the microlight for a general familiarisation of the aircraft's layout & a rundown of the controls. After this it’s up, up & away for a 20
- 30 minute flight of a lifetime! If the instructor feels confident that his new student is ready, they will even be able to take the controls & get the thrill of piloting the aircraft. Facilities & microlights will vary between locations & the images used here are a guide only. Notes: Your voucher is valid for ten months.  Minimum age varies between location, but will not be less than 14. No previous experience necessary. Microlights & itineraries may vary between locations & images used on this page are only a guide. Flight time will be Approx. 25 minutes depending on location & weather conditions. Maximum weight 14 stone (16 stone at South Lanarkshire location, 17.3 stone at Cambridgeshire location). No maximum height. Please note at some locations you must call on the morning of your booked flight to confirm that the weather conditions are suitable for flight.
