The plate comes with its own special pen which allows anyone to write their own personal message on the plate whether its for a wedding, anniversary or birthday. 24 hours after your plate has been signed or written on the plate must be baked in your home oven for 30 minutes to set the pen & prevent it from smudging or fading.   How to use... The Hi-tech Porcelain Pen gives a high gloss finish which after baking in the oven (30mins, at 170°C) is dishwasher-safe. The Marabu-Porcelain Painter is ideal for writing & painting on the gift you have chosen. Follow the instructions for baking.   Baking & Fixing To achieve a permanent, dishwasher-safe finish: Allow the gift to dry for Approx. 4 hours & then place it into an unheated oven. Set the temperature to 170°C & bake for Approx. 30 minutes. Turn off the heat, allow item to cool down in the closed oven. Do not remove until cool.
