The work at Tendil et Lombardi is meticulous & produces Champagnes of great character. They choose to rarely blend cuvee in order to acheive wines that typically reflect the individualities of Chardonnay & Pinot Noir. Maturation occurs for 24 months for Non Vintage wines, longer than the required 18, giving a richer style of wine. The nose displays lovely fresh orchard fruit, toasted bread & hints of anise & rose petals. As expected from 100% Pinot Noir Champagne there is great structure on the palate & an elegant perfumed quality. There is good weight & a firm finish, overall a very andpresentand Champagne.
