This hand crafted necklace is made from a faceted violet Amethyst stone which hangs below a curved Brass tube on a Sterling Silver chain. The chain measures 18" & pendant measures around 2" / 4.5 cm wide. This beautiful statement necklace makes an ideal piece to wear on a night out & the violet stone makes it really stand out & be noticed. Throughout history violet Amethyst has been greatly prized & was a “ Gem of Fire” a Precious Stone worth, at times in history, as much as a Diamond. All of the jewellery that I make has been designed & made by me in my little shed in the South East of Engl&. I try to use materials that are produced in the UK, & I only work with hand tools (as opposed to electrical machinery), to be as environmentally friendly as possible. I feel that creating pieces by hand causes every piece to be a little bit more unique.
