    Rolex box. The new Rolex
    GMT-Master II was
    unveiled at Baselworld
    2018. For the very first
    time, the red and blue,
    24-hour graduated, UV
    and scratch resistant
    Cerachrom ceramic bezel
    insert is presented on
    the Jubilee
    bracelet. Due to its
    distinctive aesthetics,
    the GMT-Master is an
    instantly recognisable
    timepiece. Though
    updated, the traditional
    hour, minute and seconds
    hands remain true to that
    of original models, as
    do the 18ct gold
    fashioned hour markers.
    Displaying a long-lasting
    blue luminescence called
    Chromalight. This blue
    glow replaces the green
    of earlier models,
    appearing brighter to
    dark adjusted
    eyes. Crafted from
    stainless steel, the
    case is measured at 40mm.
    Equipped with the red and
    blue bidirectional
    rotating bezel, similar
    to those used on the
    original 1955 GMT-Master.
    The 24-hour engraved
    graduations are to be
    used with the red GMT
    hand, allowing two times
    to be displayed
    simultaneously; either
    the local time and
    reference time, or the
    local time and another
    time zone. The date
    window displays that of
    the local time. The
    Jubilee bracelet consists
    of a supple five-link
    system, designed for
    optimal comfort. Made
    from durable stainless
    steel, this Jubilee
    bracelet features the
    ‘Oysterlock’ safety
    clasp with the
    ‘Easylink’ 5mm
    comfort extension link
    enabling subtle sizing
    adjustments without any
    tools. Powered by the
    new Swiss certified
    chronometer (COSC) 3285
    self-winding mechanical
    movement. Fitted with
    over 10 patent
    applications this
    movement offers
    fundamental improvements
    in terms of power
    reserve, precision and
    resistance to shocks and
    magnetism. The new
    Calibre 3285 offers an
    extraordinary power
    reserve of approximately
    70 hours and is exemplary
    of Rolex technology.
