Product Description

Manhattan with Brooklyn Heights on a tourist street plan from Red Maps presented in a handy concertina format & printed on thick high quality paper, with thematic indexes for sights, restaurants, shopping, etc. The plan covers Manhattan up to the Martin Luther Boulevard (125th Street) in Harlem, plus Brooklyn Heights, at 1:15, 860 approx, with the Financial District & the southern tip of Manhattan shown in greater detail on the reverse. The plan names tourist sights & important buildings, entertainment venues, selected restaurants, etc. Also highlighted are main shopping streets with names of selected individual stores. Subway stations & connections are very clearly indicated. On the reverse are thematic lists of sights & important buildings, hotels, restaurants, theatres, etc. An index lists a selection of neighbourhoods & streets. Red Maps also produce three more detailed maps for sections of Manhattan: So Ho, Chelsea & Midtown, plus a map of Brooklyn. Stanfords
Stanfords was established in 1853 and opened their iconic Covent Garden flagship store in 1901. Famous names such as Captain Robert Falcon Scott, Ranulph Fiennes and Michael Palin have purchased from Stanfords.
