Product Description

Mont Cenis
- Ciamarella, one of the still available titles from a series of map/guides designed to highlight special As F (Alpes sans Frontières) cross-border hiking routes chosen by the French & Italian Alpine Clubs (Club Alpin Français & Club Alpino Italiano) & produced jointly under the auspices of the European Union by the national survey organizations of France & Italy, Institut Géographique National & Istituto Geografico Militare. This title consists of a pocket-size guide & a separate fold-out map at 1:25, 000. The guide contains descriptions of the routes, divided into stages, plus descriptions of the villages along the trails, lists of accommodation & other facilities including details of all the mountain huts with opening times, capacity, etc. The map has cartography of the topographic surveys of the two countries. An overprint highlights the As F routes & other mountain paths, as well as huts, recreational facilities, etc. The map has a 1-km UTM grid; a list of GPS waypoints is included in the guide.
