The Wethepeople Hydra Stem is as much of a beast as the one it was named after. Made from fully CNC machined 6061-T6 alloy that's strong & durable at a really good weight. Machining in key areas helps keep the weight down & gives the Hydra its distinct & clean design. The Hydra utilises Wethepeople's patented STC (Shark Tooth Clamping) technology, which features fine micro-knurling across the faceplate clamping area that allows the stem to "bite" into the knurling on the handlebars to create a much stronger grip. As well as their STC technology the Hydra features a wider 48mm cap to improve clamping as well as larger head bolts for enhanced clamping power.
