Product Description

Inspired by a paisley floral design called Kandahar & later Bursa, which was created in 1968 & printed at Liberty's Merton Abbey Mills print works. Large trails of augmented Paisley derived leaf forms surrounding highly stylised 'buds' are interlinked by swooping intricate garlands of tiny flowers. It was revived in the late 1970s but still seems contemporary to me. An exuberant, joyous fanfare which bursts into my Spring/ Summer collection.
