Trekking through the wilderness one Autumn, with my hip flask of grog, miles from anywhere, enthralled by the splendid vista all around me; the rich auburns, reds & cinnamon hues of fading foliage, the distant silvery gleam of a river, the hint of an approaching shower & the far mountains with their snow capped lofty heads in mist, a feather came floating down at my feet. I looked up but there were no birds to be seen. Whence had it come? I don't know but it gave me a great idea for a cufflink. In a brushed & antiqued finish with branded 'whale tail' finding for super easy fastening at the cuff.
