Veicularia Dubyana Christmas is a special moss originally seen in Japanese aquariums & known as " Amazonia Willow Moss''. Also called " Christmas tree moss'', because of its side branch structure which distinguishes it from ordinary Vesicularia dubyana & looks like fir tree branches. It is more demanding than ordinary Java moss & grows more slowly. It attaches readily to roots & stones, & as it spreads in the water it needs pruning to keep its shape attractive. This is a medium category plant. Grown in sterile conditions, free from algae, snails & pests the 1-2-GROW plants offer you a healthy beginning for your aquarium. In comparison to normal pots, you get a lot more plant matter per cup. As with growing any new garden you need to be a little patient but they are well worth waiting for. Carefully remove the plant from its tub & wash off the growing media in clean tap water. Use very sharp scissors to cut the plants into 6-8 small sections.
