Our Parrot mixture is the same seed & mixture formulation that we have offered for over thirty years, providing a good quality parrot food at a sensible price. Available in full sacks of 15kg & in our own economy polythene bag repacks for smaller pack sizes. Always fresh & clean & offering great value. Contains; Sunflower, Palte Maize, Peanuts, Safflower, Nuts in Shells, Chillies, Yellow Egg Biscuit, Whole Oats, Wheat. The most important components of most parrots' diets are seeds, nuts, fruit, buds & other plant material, also a few species also eat insects & small animals, & the lories & lorikeets are specialised to feed on nectar from flowers, & soft fruits. Almost all parrots nest in tree holes or nest boxes in captivity, & lay white eggs from which emerge helpless young. The few Parrots that are offered for sale in our stores are always British bred & hand reared, often by our regular customers.
