  • Seeds: 300

Sowing: Direct sow in small batches every 4-6 weeks from February-Early September in lines, or blocks, straight into the ground. The plants need plenty of water, but not too much sun. A cool, northern bed, kept moist is ideal. Hot weather inhibits germination. Water the drill before sowing to decrease temperatures in warmer months & sow in the evening. Final Thinning/ Planting Distance: 20-25cm Harvesting: 6-8 weeks from sowing, producing leaves for about 3 months. Successional sowing should provide leaves nearly all year
