Product Description

I spent time when I was a child staying in the beautiful medieval hill town, Asolo, in the foothills of the Dolomites in Italy where we had a mixed baby leaf salad most days.

There you can buy this by the bag on almost every market stall, & just take it home & dress with a little olive oil and the juice of a lemon.

This bestselling mix of salad leaf varieties is chosen & inspired by this memory, with a gentle crunchy lettuce base, a zap of rocket or tang of mildly bitter chicory. Hugely recommended – I love it.

Succession-sow a patch once every 4-6 weeks to keep you in delicious mixed leaf salad almost all year.

For sowing anytime between March & September:

  • Wild Rocket
  • Chicory ‘ Green Sugar’
  • Chicory ‘ Variegata del Castelfranco’
  • Lettuce ‘ Red Oak’
  • Lettuce ‘ Cerbiatta’
  • Lettuce ‘ Green Batavian’
