Introductory Indoor Skydiving The wind tunnel is a 120 mph wall of air, easily strong enough to support human weight, creating the sensation of freefall without the need to jump out of a plane. Start off with a safety briefing from an instructor before being kitted out with a specialist flight suit. Then step into the wind tunnel with the instructor & get lifted into the air for two incredible 60 second sessions of body flying. As a comparison
- during a skydive from 10, 000 feet, expect to experience around 30 seconds of freefall. For some lucky participants, the instructor will jump on the flow & show off some astonishing acrobatics. The flying session will end with a debrief
- also get a DVD of the flight to take home. Availability At least one weekday & one weekend date every month throughout the year. The centres close Christmas Day but operate on bank holidays. Kids Outdoor Go Karting This fantastic outdoor circuit is where a lot of top Formula 1 drivers (including Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button) first got into racing, before being lured away by the big bucks. You’ll be behind the wheel of a 6mph electric kart on the 120 metre Paddock Circuit with straights, corners & other kids to steer around. Start off with a safety briefing by the circuit & then let your competitive streak loose with a 15 minute session in your kart. After a break to catch your breath, enjoy another 15 minute session during which you can perfect your racing driver skills (you could even take a pal along to drive the second half if you like).
