The 610 is the top of the range Aspect bike from Scott, designed to give you a bike that everyone can learn proper biking with. Made from 6061 aluminium alloy for strength & lower weight, the 610 is fitted with Rock Shox XC32 TK forks that have 100mm of travel & Rock Shox Turn Key lockout for maximum pedaling efficiency, ideal for climbing hills. The Turn Key means you can switch the fork from plush to rigid without any technical knowledge, just turn the dial & carry on riding. The Aspect 610 is also fitted with Shimano drivetrain; a mid-range combination of an XT rear derailleur, Deore front derailleur & triple crankset (42-32-24t), & Shimano Hyperglide 10 speed cassette & chain. These components working together means youll get excellent, quiet & consistent shifting & reliable power transmission for many miles. The combination of the 10 speed rear & triple front chainset means youll have a great range of gears to find your ideal cadence on any terrain or incline. The 610 also has Deore hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano with 160mm rotors front & back to ensure great stopping power will be there when you need it, & wont be affected by mud or snow on the rims like a V-brake would.
