AuthorPaul Bryn Davies
has been a professional
artist and illustrator
all his working life. In
addition to producing
countless magazine
illustrations, he has
worked as an advertising
illustrator and has had
his work published as
posters, greetings cards
and fine art prints.
Fantasy has been the
dominant theme in Pauls
career. Paul has also
produced over 150 book
jackets for some of the
worlds leading authors,
including Christopher
Pike, Lyall Watson,
Robert E Vardeman and
Stephen King. Paul has
illustration thirteen
book jackets for Stephen
King including the
authors first ever Number
one European best seller.
Paul lives in Kent with
his wife and two
daughters. Elaine Hamer
is a professional
illustrator and she has
worked on a variety of
publications, including
cookery and childrens
titles. She uses pencil,
gouache nad watercolour
to create beautiful
stylized, decorative and
highly detailed
illustrations. Elaine
also works as a jewellery
designer/maker and until
moving into Kent lectured
in jewellery making, art
and design in the
Midlands. She has two
children, a son and
daughter, and now lives
in Kent with her husband.
Rebecca Balchin graduated
from the Kent Institute
of Art and Design with a
Fine art degree, then
trained as a teacher and
taught art, photography
and life drawing. As a
young artist, a natural
love of horses helped to
hone her drawing
abilities. Since then she
has revisited the
subject, exploring the
myth of the horse through
installation,
photography, painting
and sculpture. Her
artwork has been shown in
several exhibitions.
Rebecca also produces
equine portraits to
commission. She lives in
Kent with her husband and
son.
