Sweet & great tasting with a satisfying crunch, sugarsnap peas are a great snack when eaten raw. cooking Our sweet & crunchy sugarsnap peas can be eaten raw in salads, steamed or added to stir fries, risottos & soups. To prepare, break the end & strip it down & it will take the string out. Take the string off each side & then you can steam or boil (for 3-5 minutes). You also can eat them in a stirfry or raw. If you do cook them, dont cook them for too long, only a couple of minutes. Theyre good tossed in butter or mix with blanched runner beans with a tahini & yoghurt dressing. storage Store sugar snap peas in a plastic bag for up to three days. did you know? Sugar snap peas are the result of crossing English peas with snow peas.
