Product Description

The Ultra Patch Grass Seed is a great way of repairing patchy lawns & is also pet urine resistant. It contains a special mixture of grass seed to provide a lush, even, dog friendly result & a special urine neutraliser. Ultra Patch is quick germinating & ideal for high traffic areas. It tolerates high traffic areas & is good in shaded areas. Supplied in a 1KG Grass Seed Shaker box. Instructions: Sow from spring to late autumn. Prepare patchy areas you wish to repair by breaking up clods & removing perennial weeds, stones & rubbish. Lightly rake over the soil. A soft moist soil in a warm environment is best for seed growth. Before opening box, shake for 30 seconds to ensure the special blend is mixed together. Open box on side & end evenly distribute to cover the affected area to a depth of 2mm. Water well to ensure the mixture is moist to activate the seed. For Best Results: Apply seed to surrounding area of dead patch, to help blend the new grass. Only cut the new grass when it is about 8cm tall & do not remove more than 30% of the new growth on the 1st mow. Ensure the grass is not left to dry out & continue to water for the fist year. Product can also be used to repair thinning grass, just add slightly less mixture in a thin layer over the affected area. Seed rate: 1kg-9sqm. Will cover up to 25 patches (depending on area of dead grass). Grass will germinate between 7-10 days. For Maximum results, store product in cool dry place & use within the season of purchase.
