- Easy superb wild rocket flavour. Easy to grow selection of 'wild' rocket. Very attractive tangy indented leaves ideal for pots. Good source of vitamin C.S: April-August H: May-October Sow the Rocket Olivetta outdoors thinly where they are to crop 0.5cm (1/4 inch) deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Allow 25cm (10 inches) between rows. Early Rocket Olivetta sowings may benefit from cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear 7-21 days. Water your Rocket Olivetta well & ensure that soil remains moist to prevent plants running to seed. Thin out to 10cm (4 inches) apart using thinnings in salads. No thinning is necessary if only baby leaves are required. Regular sowings made every two to three weeks will ensure continuous supply. Take a few leaves from each plant & this will give up to four cuts or pick whole mature plants. Cloche protection in autumn will extend the harvest period. Mr. F's Tips:widely used in salads it is a traditional ingredient of Provence mesclun it can also be added to cooked dishes such as risotto. Package contains 500 seeds inside!
