Malus domestica 'Laxton's Superb' Raised in 1897, this remains a popular dessert apple and is often grown where Cox fails to thrive. The fruits are sweet and finely textured. Resistant to mildew and canker. Can be grown successfully in the north.

Product Description

Malus domestica ' Laxton's Superb' Raised in 1897, this remains a popular dessert apple & is often grown where Cox fails to thrive. The fruits are sweet & finely textured. Resistant to mildew & canker. Can be grown successfully in the north.   Supplied in a ‘Y’ shape with two main shoots that can be trained out in opposite directions at about 45-60cm (18-24in)  above the ground. On receipt you will need to tie the arms down gradually (in several stages) to a horizontal supporting framework (not supplied).   Pollination: Group C. Season: Nov
- Jan. Tree Form: Stepover. Available for delivery: late November
- early May.
