Product Description

Pyrus communis ' Obelisk' Originating from Slovakia, this is a very special dwarf pear with an upright, columnar habit, ideal for small spaces & for growing in a pot on a patio. The medium sized fruits are green, occasionally with a red flush. The flesh is firm with a delicate sweet flavour. Suitable for dessert & culinary purposes. One very useful feature of this variety is the storage qualities of the fruit. Picked early/mid October, the fruits can be stored for several months in a refrigerator. Suitable for growing in most UK areas. Pollination: Self-fertile. Group C. Season: Oct
- Jan. Available for delivery: late November
