A very popular crab apple that is very disease resistant. The unusually large soft pink-white flowers open from red buds & are followed by heavy crops of small red flushed orange-yellow fruits that persist well into December & can be used for making crab apple jelly. The tree has a compact conical habit making it an ideal choice for small gardens. The dark green foliage turns yellow-orange in the autumn.
