Sambucus nigra ' Aurea' (Golden Elder) A fast growing shrub grown for its golden yellow foliage, fragrant white flowers & fruit. The flowers & fruit can be used to make elderberry wine & cordial. Grows well in coastal areas. Can be used in rows as a screening plant or in a mixed hedgerow. Plant 60-90cm (2-3ft) apart. Ultimate height (untrimmed): 3.7m (12ft). Recommended hedge

Height: 1.8-3.7m (6-12ft). Average growth rate: 60-90cm (2-3ft) per year.  Height on despatch: 45-60cm (18-24in). Available for delivery: late November
- early May.
