Product Description

Three pear varieties grafted onto a single tree:   Pear ' Williams' Bon Chrétien' Raised in 1770, this is probably the best known & most widely grown pear in the world, suitable for dessert & culinary use. The medium sized fruits have a pale green/golden skin finish. The flesh is sweet, very smooth & extremely juicy. A reliable & heavy cropper, suitable for colder areas. Season: Sept.         Pear ' Doyenné du Comice' Raised in 1849, this is one of the finest flavoured & most popular dessert pears. Produces large green-yellow fruits, sometimes with a red flush. The flesh is smooth & very juicy with a sweet, delicious flavour. Requires a warm location in order to crop well. Season: Oct
- Nov.      Pear ' Conference' Over 100 years old, this is the best known & most popular pear variety in the U.K., suitable for most locations. The long narrow fruits are firm & juicy with a sweet, pleasant flavour. Suitable for dessert & culinary use. Reliable & heavy cropping. Season: Oct
