Product Description

Rosa canina (Dog Rose/ Wild Rose)  A fast growing prickly shrub often used in an informal mixed hedge to form an impenetrable barrier. The arching stems produce a burst of pale pink flowers in May/ June followed by a fantastic show of edible bright red hips that are good for rose-hip syrup or providing bird food in the winter. Plant 30-45cm (12-18in) apart. Ultimate height (untrimmed): 2.1m (7ft). Recommended hedge

1.2-1.5m (4-5ft). Average growth rate: 45cm (18in) per year.   Height on despatch: 45-60cm (18-24in). Available for delivery: late November
