Product Description

Prunus insititia ' Farleigh' (syn. ' Crittenden's Damson') Discovered in Kent in the early 19th century, this variety was rated by the Victorian fruit enthusiast Hogg as "the best of all damsons." The fruits are small with a blue-black bloom & have a typical rich damson flavour, ideal for culinary purposes. One of the most resilient fruit trees, productive even in cold, wet climates.      Pollination: Self-fertile. Group C. Season: early Sept. Available for delivery: late November
- early May.
